This huge paragraph of exposition happens right in the middle of a tense battle

"Lycanthropy cases are caused by a combination of natural talent for Changing, high enviromental magic and tramautic circumstances. The mind under siege grabs at the available resources and creates a form designed to fight back. The first form it creates varies from person to person, but tends to be about ten feet tall, covered with thick, coarse fur that all stands on end, and armed with enormous teeth and claws. Usually you can’t even tell what animal it was twisted from. They are faster and stronger than any living animal, and conventional weapons can’t cause lasting harm, only slow them down. Silver doesn’t do it either, although cold iron has occasionally be used to great effect. Common parlance dubs these things BSTs, ‘Big Scary Things.’ Some people pronounce the acronym like ‘beast.’"

And that is how the lycanthropes work ^-^  Well that's how the first transformation works anyway.  Unless some part of that ends up being narrative inconvenient in which case I'll have to change some >.>b

Aww, that's not huge, it's downright restrained compared to some of the worldbuilding documents I've done. ;P (I get...carried away sometimes.) Er, anyway, interesting interpretation of lycanthropy! Also cold iron FTW. Does that mean they're connected to fae at all?

I had the Beastling kith from Changeling: the Lost on my mind apparently. x.x One of the only changes from Dreaming I liked.
